Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Limousine and Car Service ("Service Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC. These Service Terms govern your use of the services ("Services") offered by EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC.

Please review these Service Terms carefully before using the Services. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Service Terms. You are also subject to any additional terms posted on our website ("Site"), located at https://www.eastsidetowncars.com.

If you do not agree to these Service Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Services.

EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC reserves the right to change or supplement these Service Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Services after any change or supplement constitutes your acceptance of the revised Service Terms. You are responsible for reviewing these Service Terms regularly.

Pricing policy

All advertised fares are subject to change without notice and may be higher during holidays or special events.

Rate estimates

A rate quoted before your trip is based on the information you provided at the time of reservation. Changes to the trip details may change the final amount charged.

Prices listed on the EastSide Town Car & Limousine website include gratuity only when the applicable price or page expressly states that gratuity is included. If gratuity is not expressly stated to be included, the listed price does not include gratuity.

Posted hourly rates include all fees and gratuity.

Depending on the applicable service and pricing method, tolls, waiting time, additional stops, requested trip changes, and other charges authorized under these Service Terms may increase the final amount charged.

Additional charges

Changes made to your trip after pickup may result in additional charges. Before proceeding with a requested change, obtain an updated price from the driver or the office.

An additional fee of $10 applies to all services provided between 10:30 p.m. and 4:00 a.m.

Gratuity

A mandatory gratuity of 20% applies to all vehicle categories.

The gratuity is added to the listed or quoted price unless the applicable website page or quote expressly states that gratuity is included.

Posted hourly rates include all fees and gratuity. No additional gratuity will be added to a posted hourly rate unless the customer voluntarily chooses to provide an additional amount.

Waiting time

EastSide Town Car & Limousine does not charge waiting time for airport pickups, including waiting caused by flight delays, early arrivals, or baggage delivery.

For all non-airport pickups, the first 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time are complimentary. If the passenger is not ready after the complimentary period, waiting time is charged in 15-minute increments based on the hourly rate for the reserved vehicle.

Time spent waiting at additional stops is also charged in 15-minute increments based on the hourly rate for the reserved vehicle.

Additional stops

Fares quoted online do not include additional stops made during the trip.

Unless specifically discussed at the time of reservation, fares quoted by a reservation representative over the phone also do not include additional stops.

Charges for additional stops are calculated based on the distance added by deviating from the route between the original pickup location and destination. You may obtain an exact quote for an additional stop before your trip by speaking with a reservation representative at (206) 853-6146.

Cancellation policy

A cancellation fee may be charged to your credit card when a trip is not canceled within the required cancellation period.

To avoid a cancellation fee, customers must notify a customer service representative of the cancellation by phone, email, or fax at least:

  • 24 hours before sedan service;
  • 48 hours before SUV or van service; and
  • Seven days before limousine service.

Cancellations are accepted by email or by phone at (206) 853-6146.

No-shows

If EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC is unable to contact the passenger or the designated contact person within 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time using the contact information provided with the reservation, the trip will be treated as a no-show and the pickup will be discontinued.

Failure to be present at the pickup location without notifying EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC may result in a no-show charge.

Reservation changes

EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC requires reservation changes to be submitted:

  • By phone at least three hours before pickup; or
  • By email or fax at least 24 hours before pickup.

If a change submitted less than three hours before pickup cannot be accommodated, any resulting cancellation may result in a full or partial charge to the customer.

Credit card policy

When paying by credit card, you must provide the credit card number in advance for preauthorization. Preauthorization does not constitute payment for the trip.

When a reservation is made using a credit or debit card, a preliminary authorization hold equal to 150% of the quoted fare is placed on the card. The hold is intended to secure the anticipated total, including tolls, gratuity, additional stops, and waiting time. The hold is released when payment is processed, approximately three to five business days after the trip.

The physical credit card must be presented to the driver at pickup. The driver may request additional identification to verify that the card is valid. All signatures and identifying information must match before the card will be accepted as payment.

The credit card slip must be completed and signed at the end of the trip. During the trip, passengers may not leave the vehicle for any purpose without first signing the incomplete credit card slip. If a passenger leaves and does not return to the vehicle, the full fare will be charged to the card.

Credit card processing

Credit cards are processed approximately three to five business days after the trip date. Charges will appear on your statement as of the processing date rather than the trip date.

Transactions are handled in an encrypted format through a secure server to protect EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC and its customers and to maintain the confidentiality and security of customer information. We pledge to continue adopting new security technology as it becomes available.

Rates and billing

All rates are subject to review after completion of the service. Adjustments may be made to correct mathematical errors or reflect actual tolls, additional stops, waiting time, and other charges authorized under these Service Terms.

Affiliate service policy

EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC may, at its discretion, use affiliated transportation providers to provide limousine and ground transportation services requested by its customers.

Vehicle images

Vehicle images displayed on the EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC website may differ from the vehicle actually provided.

Lost or damaged items

EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC and its affiliates are not responsible for items lost, damaged, or left in a vehicle.

We make reasonable efforts to locate property left in our vehicles. Found items are retained for 30 days.

To report an item left in one of our vehicles, submit our Lost and Found form or call our customer service department at (206) 853-6146.

EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC reserves the right to charge a delivery fee for returning found property. Delivery fees are based on the applicable full travel rate.

Exclusions and limitations of liability

EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC and its affiliates are not responsible for delays, missed flights, abandoned plans, or other losses caused by circumstances beyond their reasonable control. Such circumstances may include acts of God or nature, acts of terrorism, severe weather, traffic congestion, road closures, accidents not caused by EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC, flight delays, airport disruptions, and government actions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC will not be liable for consequential, exemplary, special, indirect, incidental, or punitive damages arising from or relating to the Services, even if EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC has been advised that such damages may occur.

Except for the claims and liabilities excluded from this limitation below, EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC’s total liability for a claim arising from or relating to the Services will be limited to the customer’s direct, actual damages and will not exceed the amount the customer paid for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.

The exclusions and limitation of liability in this section apply regardless of the legal theory asserted, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability, misrepresentation, indemnity, or another legal or equitable theory, but only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Service Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Gross negligence;
  • Willful or intentional misconduct;
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • Bodily injury or death to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited;
  • Damage to tangible personal property to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited; or
  • Any other liability that applicable law does not permit EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC to exclude or limit.

The limitations and exclusions in this section are intended to allocate risk between EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC and the customer and will be enforced only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing law and venue

These Service Terms and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Service Terms or the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to Washington’s conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to applicable law, any legal action arising from or relating to these Service Terms or the Services must be brought exclusively in a state court located in King County, Washington, or in the federal court having jurisdiction over King County, Washington. Each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

A party may bring an eligible claim in a small claims court located in King County, Washington, instead of another court identified in this section.

If a court determines that the exclusive-venue requirement in this section is unenforceable with respect to a particular claim, that claim may be brought in another court of competent jurisdiction as required by applicable law.

General provisions

These Service Terms, together with any other operating rules or terms posted on the Site, including the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC concerning the Services. They supersede all previous written or oral agreements between you and EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC concerning the Services.

No action or inaction by EastSide Town Car & Limousine, LLC will be construed as a waiver of these Service Terms or any provision of these Service Terms.

If a court of competent jurisdiction determines that any provision of these Service Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
